Ahh the heady days.Used to be great fun on a Thursday to await the arrival of Nobby the NAAFI bloke returning from his run ashore to be in time for last orders and wet ourselves laughing at his drunken Teddy boy bopping.Bless him,i often wonder what happened to him.

I was involved in the Haslar club in the late 70's early 80's when it moved into the new building. The resident DJ was a tall theatre tech who's name escapes me. I did the lights for a bit and booked some of the acts.
The pay day disco was always a blast.
