Enough said re Haslar, now need to push forward and all the staff return to work tomorrow with little change, save loosing Surg Capt James Campbell, and no flag to fly!
The Haslar Heritage Group are considering putting together a Multi-media CD with photos of the two events last week, Freedom Parade and Decommissioning along with the programmes from the event with Historical Photos file as well. To top this we are in discussion with the RM School of Music to place the March 'Haslar Farewell' (commissioned by the Group), QARNNS March and the marches of the other service nursing sections.
Best regards,
Eric Birbeck

We think this is a great idea and would certainly want to buy a dvd/cd of the ceremony and marches. Living in the north east of Scotland, as a rule, it isn't always easy to get down south for these ceremonies, reunions ect.,although we both enjoyed the tour of Haslar and the evening in the Home Club last September
